Sara Giacalone

Sara Giacalone’s prior experience in the funeral industry allowed her to realize how important it is to prepare for the future, not only for yourself but for your loved ones as well. While she never intended to take this path, her natural instinct to help and serve led her to a fulfilling career in financial services.

Since joining the team at Planned Financial Services, LLC in 2019, Sara has ensured that the office runs smoothly and helps the advisors develop long-lasting relationships with clients. She also handles all marketing and event planning. Sara was a Girl Scout troop leader for several years and served as chair to her local council. While attending the University of Michigan-Flint Social Work program, she helped organize and implement multiple fundraising and volunteer events for her school and organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Big Brothers Big Sisters in Flint and her local Women’s shelter. She is also an active volunteer in the community.

A true outdoorswoman, Sara can be found skydiving, gardening, camping with her family, walking her rescue Yorkie or relaxing on a beach.
